I was very saddened to learn of Nancy's passing. I worked part-time at the Columbia University Office of Public Information, reporting directly to Nancy, from 1963 to 1967 while earning my undergraduate degree at Columbia's School of Engineering & Applied Science. We had an exceptionally wonderful working relationship. Those were very formative years for me, and I learned a great deal from her. And I always enjoyed her vibrant and engaging personality.
For many decades afterward, each year during the Christmas season we exchanged cards and kept each other up to date on goings on in our lives.
I will always treasure those memories. Rest in peace, dear Nancy.
