Obituary of Steve T Lyon

Steve T. Lyon, age 55, of Glen Rock passed away on Wednesday, March 6th, 2019 at his residence. Steve was born in Syosset, NY and lived in Westfield, NJ before moving to Glen Rock 21 years ago. Steve was an Account Executive for Dell Inc. and a parishioner at St. Catharine’s RC Church in Glen Rock, NJ. Steve is survived by his loving wife, Maryann, and his beloved children, Madalyn and Jack. He is also survived by his brothers and sister; Michael Lyon and his wife Debbie of Lake Ronkonkoma, NY, Chris Lyon and his wife, Cindy of Seaford, NY, Tracy Lyon of Melville, NY and Gavin Lyon of Locust Valley, NY. Additionally, he is survived by his nieces and nephews, Craig, Nick, Billy, Gavin, Ali, Alex, Olivia, Robert, Abigail, Timothy, John Albert, and Christopher as well as his mother in law, Joan, and his brothers and sisters in-law, Joann and Rich, Ellen and Bobby, John and Christine. He was predeceased by his parents A. Craig and Patricia Lyon, a brother, Creag Lyon and sister, Patty Lyon. The family will receive friends and family on Sunday, March 10th from 4pm-8pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave, Wyckoff, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 11th at 9:30am at St. Catharine’s R.C Church, 905 South Maple Ave., Glen Rock, NJ. The interment will follow at Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes, NJ.
