Mary & family,
I remember the time when Mary and I were doing homework at your kitchen table. We were doing rate problems - you know, the "people on Team A can paint a house in 10 hours and people on Team B can paint a house in 7 hours.. if you have two people from Team A and one person from Team B, how long to paint the house" variety of problem... Mary and I were working diligently to write the equations and try to solve these problems, while Mr. Francica was quietly dabbling in the kitchen. Amazingly, after listening to us debate the mathematical formulation of each problem, he would call out the answer. HE WAS SOLVING THE PROBLEMS IN HIS HEAD (!). Some (40+?) years later, I am still humbled by that experience. It taught me a life-long lesson. I never judge anyone by how many degrees they have or where they went to school. He was the smartest person in the room. A day i'll never forget.
To the entire Francica family - my sincere condolences for your loss.

Mr. Francica was always so kind and generous. I was honored to be a godparent beside him to his grandson, my nephew Joseph. He was such a wonderful role model of grandfather, father and member of his community. May he rest in peace.

Death can be one of the most difficult things in life to endure. The Bible can be a real source of comfort in our times of grief. The Bible encourages us that the Grand Creator of the Universe, Jehovah God, views death as an enemy (1 Corinthians 15:26). It promises a future where Death, Pain and Sorrow will no longer exist (Revelation 21:3,4). It tells us what happens to our love ones when they die (Ecclesiastes 9:5,10). We're given hope through the scriptures that explain the Resurrection (John 5:28,29). Knowing these truths will help to sustain each of you until you see your love one again. Please accept this message as my expression of sympathy to each of you, family and friends.

Dear Jan and Family:
Please accept our sympathy on the passing of your dad, Joe. He was a distinguished and accomplished citizen of Wyckoff serving on the ambulance corps and was one of the first certified EMT's. He served in the US Navy during World War II. Thank you for your service Joseph Francica.

There are not too many things sadder than losing a parent. However, we are promised that we will see them again. Once the hurt simmers down, just think of it as him going ahead of you and preparing a nice little spot for his family to gather and play cards together again. You now have an another advocate in heaven who will look out for you. He's firmly in your heart! My condolences and my prayers are with you.

Frank, Jan, Mary, Kathleen, and all the beautiful Grandchildren, I am so terribly sorry for the loss of your Father, and Grandfather. He was a GREAT MAN, who I have been blessed to know since birth. My Fathers Best Friend, and Brother by choice. He will be missed. He was loved by everyone who was fortunate enough to know him. His infectious personality will forever be embedded in my heart and mind. My dear "Uncle Joe" thank you for being one of the greatest men I have ever known.
