Obituary of Johanna Maas

Johanna Maas, 93, of Waldwick, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019.  Born in the Netherlands, she lived in Fair Lawn before moving to Waldwick 61 years ago.  Johanna was a member of the St. Luke’s RC Church in Ho-Ho-Kus.

She is survived by her four children: Theodore Maas of Anthem, AZ, Jo-Ann Menadier of Longs, SC Diana Ortiz of Waldwick, NJ, and Ronald Maas of Ridgewood, NJ.  Johanna was predeceased by her husband Theodorus in 1996.

The family will receive friends on  Monday 2 – 4 & 7 - 9 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home,  www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ.   A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 10:00 am at St. Luke’s RC Church, 340 Franklin Turnpike, Ho-Ho-Kus.  Cremation will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Johanna's memory can be made to the Alzheimer's Association of NJ.
