Obituary of Tom Lee
Tom Yim Lee, age 103, died peacefully on Monday, November 5, 2007. Born in Canton, China, he lived in Ramsey since 1980. Mr. Lee served as a reconnaissance officer in World War II, alongside the renowned Flying Tigers and retired with distinction as a Colonel in The Taiwan Air Force. He then immigrated to the United States and was a restaurateur until his retirement, where he became a local celebrity in Ramsey. Tom is survived by his five loving children; Robert, Nai Po, Joyce Chan, Sandra Cohen and Brenda Morgart. Also survived by five grandchildren; Steven, Grace, Cindy, Jennifer and Flavia, and two great granddaughters; Sabrina and Katherine. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Yut Kam Lee in 1990. The family will receive visitors Thursday, 9:30 to 11:30 AM followed immediately by a funeral service at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff.
