We’re still shocked about Dottie’s passing. She was a wonderful person who will be missed by so many family members and friends. We were fortunate to have Dottie and Paul’s daughter Sue marry our son Jeremy. That marriage brought us together as good friends, and brought our rescue dogs together as playmates. It also gave us 2 fantastic grandchildren who adored their grandma and still adore their poppy. R.I.P. sweet Dottie.

I remember the great times on the back patio of our house across the street from yours. Cold beer and lots of laughs at corny jokes.

Dororthy was an angel here on earth. Dot gave her time and energy to helping others. Always a good word for others. Paul and Dot adopted animals from shelters over the years they were married. Together they raised two wonderful children who continue to give to others. Dot will be missed by many people not just her family. God bless my wonderful friend of 43 years, Dot.

Words cannot express the loss I feel. Dorothy, we've been friends for 65 years. Our friendship began in Bergenfield when you moved in across the street from me. We went through high school together with wonderful memories. We attended each other's weddings and looked forward to starting families. We were destined to remain friends when we both bought houses within 2 miles of each other. Over the years we enjoyed many luncheons together with our high school friends, Lola and Pat. I'm so going to miss you, my friend. Arlene

so sad to hear of Dot's passing. She fought hard to overcome her illness even though she once told me she did not have high expectations of survival.
she continued to tap with our group and join us at Hogan's for our weekly
breakfast. she joined us on our bus trips with the HoHoKus seniors. she spoke lovingly of her family and beloved dog. she will be missed and remembered.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Surdez family. I have known Sue for over 13 years, and it has always been clear what an important part of her life her mom was and will always be.
