To all of Bob and Eileen's descendants, I am very sorry for your loss. BobPat, as I always called him, was my friend for many years. When I first met him I found him to be intimidating, but we gradually got past that and I learned to admire and value him in many ways. He helped me and my husband get settled in Allendale and when I became Garden Club president, he was enormously supportive. He and "Bob the Younger" were the back bone of our work sessions, cleaning up our weeding and pruning scraps as the club maintained gardens to beautify Allendale. I am sorry he had to endure the loss of his sons and his wife. Also sorry he had to endure old age infirmities that forced him to be idle. I know he liked to stay busy!
I will miss him.
