Obituary of Louise Napoli

Napoli, Louise, age 94, of Midland Park, passed away on Thursday, December 6th, 2018.  Louise was born in Carloforte, Italy, and lived in New York for many years before moving to New Jersey in 1997.

Louise, as the family Matriarch, instilled by example and deed, the shared joys of a love, happiness and fulfillment that come from embracing and engendering closeness and respect with every member of her large loving family.

She is survived by her daughter JoAnn Curnan and son-in-law Frank Curnan, her nephews Andrew and Peter Napoli, and his wife, Anna, her six grandsons, Ed, John, Anthony and Michael Rivano, as well as Matthew and Stephen Curnan, and great nieces Karen DiFatta, Veronica Napoli, Andrea Groover and Danielle Batanjany. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Antonio, in 2001, her daughter, Maria Rivano in 2016 and son-in-law, Edward Rivano, in 2012.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 10th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. 

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 11th at 10 am at St. Elizabeth’s R.C. Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff, NJ 07481.

Interment to follow at Christ the King Cemetery, 980 Huron Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417.
