Obituary of Vera Karpinsky

Vera Karpinsky, 96, of Franklin Lakes, passed away on Friday, November 9, 2018.  Born in New York City, she lived in Flushing, Queens and then Long Beach, NY with her husband before moving to Franklin Lakes 20 years ago.

When Vera wasn’t volunteering in the gift shop of St. Joseph’s Hospital in Wayne, you could find her in Fort Myers Beach, FL. 

Vera is survived by her loving daughters: Valerie and her husband Kevin Scott of Westport, CT and Michele and her husband Jim Christopoulos of Franklin Lakes, her 5 grandchildren: Nicole, Greg and his wife Alexis, Diana and her husband Aaron, Tanya and Nicholas, 3 great grandchildren: Emerson, Colette and Lucas, and her 2 favorite pups: Rocky and Bella.

She was predeceased by loving husband of 51 years, Nicholas in 1998.

Visiting hours are 3 – 7 on Monday at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. 

Interment is 11:30 am on Tuesday at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, NY.
