Obituary of Richard M. Agnello, Jr.
Agnello, Richard “Rick” Mauro Jr. age 67 of Sterling Forest, NY passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday November 6th, 2018. Born in Paterson and raised in Glen Rock, he lived in Wyckoff, Glen Rock, Saddle Brook, Sterling Forest, and most recently Ridgewood. Rick is a graduate of Glen Rock High School. Upon graduating, he served in the National Guard. Rick owned and operated Town Garage in Ridgewood along with his father Richard Agnello Sr. and brother Steven Agnello. He had an immense passion for music and would see live shows any chance he had. Rick also loved riding motorcycles, doing anything mechanical, going for boat rides on Greenwood Lake, spending time at Cape Cod, eating out at his favorite restaurants, and most of all spending time with his family and friends. Rick is survived by his loving children, Keri Agnello (Brendan King), Eric Agnello (Angela Denton), and Craig Agnello (Judi Agnello). He also adored his two grandsons, Ashton Richard Agnello and Liam Richard King. He is also survived by his brother Steve Agnello (Marcie Riger) and sister Karen Agnello (Bill Ruger) along with his nephews Rinaldo D’Argenio, Keith Agnello, and Ryan Agnello. Rick touched the lives of everyone that he knew. He was always ready with a joke and a smile or the perfect piece of advice. He selflessly lived his life to help others and make other people happy. He will always be held in the hearts of all of those who loved him. A private memorial service will be held.
