Obituary of Philip Scaglione
Scaglione, Philip age 94 of Midland Park died Tuesday, October 23, 2012. Born in Northvale he lived in Midland Park for 64 years. Philip was a WW II Army Veteran who survived the first wave of the D-Day Invasion. He was a parishioner of Church of the Nativity, 315 Prospect St. Midland Park, NJ for 64 years. Philip was the owner and operator of Allendale Sales and Service, Allendale before his retirement in 1989. After his retirement he enjoyed being a Crossing Guard for the Midland Park Police Dept. for 10 years. He was a member of the VFW Post 7086, Midland Park. Surviving are his children, Rhonda Salge and her husband John and Philip A. Scaglione and his wife Kathy both of Midland Park. Also surviving are his 3 grandchildren, Christopher and his wife Trisha Salge, Shawn Salge and Lindsey and her husband David Terpstra, and his great grandson, Evan Christopher Salge. He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth in 2002. Visiting hours, Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Church of the Nativity, 315 Prospect St. Midland Park, NJ 07432. Funeral Mass Friday 9:30 am at the Church. Interment Rockland Cemetery, Sparhill, NY. In lieu of flowers donations to the Church would be appreciated.
