Obituary of Richard Slifer

Slifer, Richard B., age 80, of Saddle River, passed away on Wednesday, November 7^th, 2018.  Richard was born in Bryn Mawr, PA and lived in Rutherford before moving to Saddle River, NJ.  Richard proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.  He was the owner of Wayne Auto Spa for many years.  He is survived by his loving wife, Judith, his two sons, Richard (Lorraine) and Glenn (Melissa), four step-children, Robin (her Chow Chow Gracie), Robert (Belle), Bradley (Gioia), and Glenn (Angelica), and 13 grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Eleanor, and his brother, Herb.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 11^th from 2-4pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ.  Interment on Monday, November 12^th at 10am at George Washington Memorial Park, 234 Paramus Rd., Paramus, NJ.
