Obituary of Linda J. Zurflueh
Linda J. Zurflueh (nee Morgner) age 70 of Waldwick, went to be with her Lord and Savior surrounded by her family on Monday, September 24, 2018. Born in Passaic, Linda lived in Clifton and Wayne before moving to Waldwick in 1977. She was a faithful member of the New Apostolic Church in Paramus. Linda attended nursing school at Hackensack Hospital and later received her Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Felician College in 1985. She was employed by Dr. Patricia Hicks in HoHoKus for more than 30 years. Linda was a dedicated volunteer for Operation Christmas Child, a program of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Surviving is her beloved husband of 50 years, Alfred Zurflueh, her devoted children, John and his wife Rachel and Jennette and her husband Martin Koefler. Linda was also a loving grandmother to Nicole, Leah and Michael. She leaves her brother, Ronald Morgner as well as 4 nieces and nephews. The Zurflueh family will receive friends on Friday, September 28, 2:00 until 4:00 and 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 29 at 10:00 am at the New Apostolic Church, 286 Paramus Road, Paramus. Interment will follow in the George Washington Memorial Park.
