Obituary of Kenneth J. Percel

Kenneth J. Percel, of North Carolina passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at the age of 72. A native of Garfield, NJ, Ken was a veteran of the US Navy, worked at LP Thebaut, Inc, and eventually the Brunswick County Power Station as he spent the remaining years of his life living in Bolivia, NC.  He spent many years enjoying fishing, biking and time outdoors. 

He is survived by his devoted wife, Barbara Percel, his daughters, Erin Percel, Jennifer Genovese and her husband Sam, and his granddaughter, Noelle Grande.  Also surviving are his two sisters, Barbara Milewski and her husband Andrew, Linda Slater and her husband David, and his brother, Joseph Percel and his nephews, Matthew and Brian Slater and Michael Milewski.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 10-11AM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ.  Funeral Mass Monday 11:30 am at St. Elizabeth RC Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave. Wyckoff, NJ  07481.  Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ
