Obituary of Joan M. Hurley

Joan M. Hurley (nee Roscher) age 88 of Waldwick died Wednesday, May 23, 2018.   Born in Brooklyn, NY she lived in Mahwah before moving to Waldwick 21 years ago.  Joan was a Teacher and Director of Growing Tree Nursery School, Ramsey for 12 years.  She attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Church, Ridgewood, NJ.
 

Surviving are her four daughters, Alison Pilaar and her husband Neil of Mahwah, Lesley Hurley and her husband Greg Gardner of Ridgewood, Stacey Hurley of Mahwah and Kerry Cunningham and her husband Gavin of Ridgewood.  Also surviving are her nine grandchildren, Kyle, Evan, Conner, Brendan, Kaylee, Jack, Liam, Logan and Maeve.  She was predeceased by her husband John in 1997.

Visiting Sunday 2-6 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ.  Funeral Mass Tuesday 10 am at Our Lady of Mt.
