Obituary of Thomas J. Eager

Eager, Thomas James, 90, of Midland Park, formally of Waldwick, NJ, passed away on May 20^th, 2018.  Born in Edgewater, NJ, he was a resident of Waldwick, NJ, for 47 years until moving to Midland Park in 2007.  He drove for APA Transport for 31 years and was a past president of the APA Credit Union.  He was an active member of the Waldwick Lions Club for over 30 years.  He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.  Beloved husband of Patricia.  Devoted father of Carol (and husband George Williams) and Nancy Eager Schute (deceased).  Beloved grandfather to four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  Visitation is Friday at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.  Funeral is Saturday at St. Luke’s Church, Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ, at 10am.
