Obituary of Carmine Cutrofello
Carmine Cutrofello, age 88, of Waldwick died Monday Feb. 12, 2018 in Florida. Born in Bronx, NY he lived in Waldwick before moving to Florida one year ago.
Before his retirement Carmine was a union carpenter. Later in his career he moved into construction management.
He was an US Army veteran who served during the Korean War receiving a purple heart for his service.
Among his many interests, which included his pilot license, he was an active member of the Rockland County Radio Control Club West Nyack, NY for many years.
Surviving are his three children, Fred Cutrofello and his wife, JoAnne of Tamarac, Fl, Carl Cutrofello of Waldwick, NJ and Lisa Kwasnieski and her husband, John of Boca Raton, Fl. Also surviving is his sister, Claire Sacchitiello of South Carolina, his six grandchildren; Chris, Michelle, April, Dawn, Ava and Scot and his great grandchildren; Cameron, Maura Jane and his dear friend Laura DeLuca, mother of his children.
The family will gather on Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 1-1:30 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ followed by a Memorial Service from 1:30-2:30 pm. Everyone is welcome to join in celebrating Carmine’s life, at 3:00 pm at Fiona’s Restaurant, 118 Godwin Avenue, Midland Park, NJ. A private burial will be held.
In lieu of flowers donations to Disable American Veterans Charitable Service Trust, 3725 Alexander Pike, Cold Springs, KY 41076 would be appreciated.
