Obituary of Cornelia Hagedorn

Cornelia Hagedorn, 90, of Midland Park, died peacefully with her daughter at her side, on Monday, February 26, 2018.  Born in Midland Park, she lived in Midland Park until she moved to Wyckoff in 2015.

Cornelia was a member of the Irving Park Christian Reformed Church Ladies Aid Bible Study, the Senior Crusaders, and the Eastern Christian Children’s Retreat Auxiliary working the farm booth at the annual Country Fair for many years.

She is survived by her children: Beverly and her husband Rodney Den Hollander of Franklin Lakes, NJ and James Hagedorn of Afton, VA; her grandchildren: Katie and David Den Hollander and Stephen (Amanda), Richard (Erin) and Jeremy Hagedorn; and 2 great grandchildren: Lilyana and Dean Hagedorn.  Cornelia was predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Edward “Ep” Hagedorn in 1984 and her son Kenneth Hagedorn in 2016.   

The family will receive friends on Wednesday 2 – 4 & 7 - 9 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ.  A private graveside service will be held on Thursday.
