Obituary of Edward J. Robinson
Edward John Robinson, 47, of Washington Township, NJ, went to be home with The Lord on January 15, 2018, with his loving family by his side, after surviving cancer for more than 20 years. He graduated from Queen of Peace HS and received Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Rutherford. His last employment was as a financial analyst at AT&T in Paramus, NJ. Ed was an avid reader with particular interest in politics, history, and comic books. He enjoyed writing and collaborated on a biography on Dick Briefer’s “The Monster of Frankenstein.” Ed was a true gentleman who tirelessly met the needs of his family and friends. These efforts honed his skills as an arguer, especially when hooking horns with insurance issues. He will be remembered as a kind, caring, intelligent and loyal friend. Ed was an active member of Bethany Church in Washington Township. Ed was born in Lyndhurst, NJ, the son of James and Elaine Robinson. Devoted husband of Jill Robinson, to whom he was married to for 22 years, and loving father of Emma Robinson. Predeceased by his beloved sister-in-law Joy Burke. Ed is survived by his parents; very special father and mother-in-law Joseph and Janice Dziezawiec; brothers James, his wife Stephanie; Robert, his wife Julie; Roger, his wife Lori; brother-in-law Michael Burke; nieces and nephews Alex, Matthew, Olivia, Sophia, and Samantha.
