Obituary of Anastasis Kollias

Anastasis Kollias, age 78, formerly of Elmwood Park passed away Friday, January 12, 2018.  Born in Koropi, Athens, Greece he came to the United States in 1966 and resided in Elmwood Park for many years. 

Beloved husband of 49 years to, Anthoula (neeTsanis) Kollias of Franklin Lakes,  devoted father of Vicky (Vasiliki) Rubino and her husband David of Center Valley, PA and Cleopatra Kollias-Perez and her husband Michael of Franklin Lakes. Anastasis was the loving grandfather of Dominick, Anastasis, Alexandra, Stephanie, Aristides and Gregory. He is also survived by his brother, Spiro Kollias and his sister, Eleni Vogiatzis from Greece and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Visiting on Tuesday 5-8:30 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ.  A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 12 noon at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 467 Grandview Ave., Wyckoff, NJ.   Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
