Obituary of Victor A. Viggiano
Victor A. Viggiano passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the age of 92. Born in Staten Island, NY, he was a resident of Ramsey before moving to Franklin Lakes. Victor proudly served in the United State Marine Corps during WWII. He was the Chief Executive Officer for The Okonite Company in Ramsey; a parishioner of Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Franklin Lakes; a member of the Hackensack Golf Club, actively involved in the Valley Hospital Foundation and supported the Sisters of St. Joseph’s Villa. Victor is predeceased by his wife Dorothy. He is survived by his three sons: Richard, his wife Linda; Robert, his significant other Karen Harvey Wilson; Victor his fiancée Louise Perry; three grandchildren: Sara, James, John and Victor’s loving companion Mildred Brightly. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 4, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 787 Franklin Lakes Rd., Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417. Entombment will follow at Maryrest Mausoleum in Mahwah. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Victor’s memory may be made to the Valley Hospital Foundation, 223 N. Van Dien Ave., Ridgewood, NJ 07450 or to the Sisters of St. Joseph’s Villa, 110 W. Wissachickon Ave., Flourtown, PA 19031.
