Obituary of Teofila Mueller

Teofila Mueller passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at the age of 76. Teofila Fahl Mueller was born in Anselmowka, Siberia, Russia, during a war torn Europe.  She endured much during that time in Europe and immigrated with her family to the United States in 1952 to Anderson, Indiana.  Her family than moved to Union City, NJ,  in 1956 and was a devote member of the German Church of God. It was there that she married her love Harry Mueller and together they were blessed with 56 years of marriage.  Teofila had three children Harry Mueller Jr., Robert Mueller and Karin Goodstein and six grandchildren: Harry III, Kaitlyn, Jordan, Nicole, Rebecca, and Ryan.  During her working career Teofila was a bi-lingual administrative assistant working 30 years at BHK of America in Spring Valley NY.  She loved her Church, cooking and her time in her beautiful garden and yard.  One of her greatest joys in life was the love for her grandchildren.  A kinder more compassionate person there could not be. God Bless our Oma.Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 3 – 7 at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. The funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of God, 400 Godwin Ave., Midland Park.  Interment will be private.
