Obituary of Fred A. Michel

Fred A.  Michel, age 90, passed away at his residence on October 12, 2017.  Born in Long Island City, NY he lived in Wyckoff for over 55 years.  He attended Lafayette College, Easton, PA.  Fred served as a Staff Sergeant during WW II. Before his retirement in 1986 he was a Sales Manager for General Electric Corp., Englewood Cliffs,NJ. Fred was an active member of the Wyckoff Reformed Church, where he served as an Elder and Sunday School Teacher.  He was charter member of Activities Unlimited, Wyckoff, NJ. Surviving are his children, Paul Michel, Carole Bechtold and her husband George, Mark Michel and his wife Debra.  Also surviving are his four grandchildren, Lisa, Kevin, Julie and Genie. He was predeceased by his wife Betty L.
