Obituary of Arthur R. Kleppe III

Arthur R. Kleppe III passed Friday, September 8, 2017 at the Valley Hospital, Ridgewood.  Born in Newark, he lived in Waldwick for 30 years. Surviving is his loving wife Barbara (nee Korolevich), his daughter Kaylyn and son-in-law Evan, his son David, daughter-in-law Brittany and their daughter Avery Raegan Kleppe (same initials to honor him).  Also surviving are his parents, Arthur Jr. and Elsie, his two sisters and three brothers (Karen, Ken, Kevin, Kathi, Keith). Art, also known as “A.R.” was loved by all - he made an impression on everyone he met. He was a cable technician for Optimum, loved music, playing cards and watching “The Price is Right”. He was a great story teller, always making people laugh with his one-liners (often times from “The Honeymooners”). He will be deeply missed. Visiting will be this Tuesday 5-8 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ.   Private cremation will be held on Wednesday. In Lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude’s Hospital would be appreciated (www.stjude.org).
