Jack,
I wish there words to express my sincere sympathies to you. I truly hope to see you soon .I posted the following on face book last week, she was a gem, your Janet was. Love, Mary Claire
I was so very sad to hear about the passing of Janet Weiss. I came across a prayer she had written and sent me a copy last June. The last sentence is a perfect way to remember her.......
" I believe that we all are of God and that we will continue to BE always. We are the stuff of Stardust " JW

To Jack and children, Please know we are remembering your Mom and all of you with
our prayers and Mass tomorrow, though we are unable to be in Wyckoff..
I think I first met Janet shortly after graduation from
St.E's. She was so welcoming to me as I became a member of the North Jersey Chapter of St.E's Alumnae.
As years passed and my own parents became members of Nativity, Janet continued to be so welcoming to them as well.
And, in recent years, Don and I would see you through the Weir family who are our Ramsey friends and loved getting to know Maureen and your grandgirls.
Wonderful memories of a true example of a Christian woman who touched so many lives. May we always remember Janet and her mission.
Most sincerely, Mary and Don McLaughlin, Sea Girt, NJ

On behalf of the entire Schneider Family, I wish to extend our sincerest condolences. My mother and father, Helen and Paul, were in the Valley Hospital many times over the last several years and were the happy recipients of Mrs. Weis' kindness, prayers and good cheer during each and every hospital stay.
I, personally, encountered Mrs. Weis at Valley Hospital more in the last 7 years than I did my entire childhood living in Midland Park. It was very clear that she devoted herself to those in need and gave tirelessly to many who benefited from her compassion, her willingness to listen and her strong faith. I spoke to her about her fulfilling her calling to God. She truly was here to be a strong witness. She sacrificed much and for that we are thankful.
All of the Schneider's thought very highly of Janet and we are grateful for her service to those less fortunate and for her friendship with our mother throughout her years in Midland Park.
Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Janet will be missed.
In Sympathy,
Pat Schneider Blice

You all know how important Mrs. Weis was to all of us kids on Floral Lane--she was just like another mother to me. Although it's been a long time since I've lived on Floral Lane, she's been an important part of my life. I'm sorry I can't be with you in person, but please know that your family is in my thoughts.
Love,
Laurie

If you needed an example of what it looked like to be a loving, caring Christian, you would have to look no further than Janet Weis. My hope is that she has inspired all of us that knew and loved her to be a little more "Janet" in our own lives. My love goes out to the entire Weis Family. I am so glad I was able to have Janet Weis touch my life.

Aunt Janet was such a wonderful person and I am sure there is a special place in heaven for her. She has helped my family and me through quite a lot of things. She was always so giving and her and Jack were a perfect match. She sent me such uplifting cards and calls during my illness and I always looked forward to hearing from her. Anyone who didn't know her missed out on a treasure. My prayers to the family.
Vinny (for all the Wilson's)
