Obituary of Everett Casson

Casson, Everett Jr. age 86 of Midland Park died Wednesday, September 5, 2012. Born in West Paterson he grew up in Hawthorne before moving to Midland Park. He was a WW II Army veteran who served in 7th Division on Leyte and 40th Division on Luzon and Panay Island all in the Philippine Islands. He is a member of Stillwater Presbyterian Church and a former member of First Presbyterian Church of Ridgewood. Before his retirement he was an Auto Mechanic for Station Motors /Fairway Dodge of Ridgewood for over 40 years. Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Virginia (nee Clift) Casson of Midland Park, his daughters, Barbara Casson (Ken Haner) of Midland Park and Donna Loukos of Hawthorne. Also surviving are his 4 grandchildren, Melissa Calpin and her husband Tom, Gina Gionis, Sarah Guartafierro and her husband Joe and Dawn Loukos (Troy Howard). His 3 great grandchildren, Phillip Kennedy, Julieanne Calpin and Samantha Guartafierro. Also surviving are his brother Richard of Wilmington, NC and his sister, Lois Scowcroft of Pompton Plains.
