To the family,
Doris was a loving, supportive presence to me and my family during our time at Christ Church. She was the only "grandmother" my daughter Ashlee knew as a toddler and she sat with Miss Doris every Sunday!
We were blessed to live across the street at 225 South Pleasant and Ashlee insisted on seeing Doris regularly. When me moved to Teaneck my daughter, still remembering Doris, continued to insist on visiting occasionally.
Doris taught this priest so many important lessons. As a mother, she taught Annie and me even more.
It was our privilege to know Doris.

Dear Auger family,
Al and I are so sorry for the loss of your unforgettable mother. In our minds she was a pillar of Christ Church during our 30+ years. We sincerely regret that we could not be at her service, but know she and all of you are in our prayers. I'm sure Beth did a beautiful service.

Patti and family,
Words cannot express the loss you must be feeling. Your mom was a tremendous lady who touched many lives. Many summers were filled with her and dad coming to our Jays games with her keeping the book. I know she's up in heaven in her chair book on lap!

My boys had a special bond with Doris and often asked to pop over and visit a neighbor who always had time for a quick hello. They enjoyed baking her goodies and stopping by just to get a hug, say hello and catch up. They adored Ms Doris in the most special way and will remember her always with love and a big smile. We have been blessed to have such a great neighbor in both Lou and Doris. They will be missed dreadfully. We send our love and happy memories to her family who she treasured.

Kim and family, I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. It is one of the hardest things in this life to lose your mom and I am so saddened to hear that you all have to go through that. My thoughts and prayers are with you all through what will be a difficult time. I have found that the wonderful memories I have of my own mother have comforted me over the past few years, perhaps you may have the same experience.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Aunt Doris, Cornie, was a very special lady and a life long friend to my parents and family. Too many wonderful memories of her when our families would get together to even mention. She will always be remembered for her brownies. I will miss getting together for lunch during my visits to NJ.
