Obituary of Vytautas "Vic" Paulius
Vytautas Paulius “Vic”, age 87, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, formerly of Allendale, died peacefully at his home on Wednesday, July 19, 2017. Born in Kaunas, Lithuania, he emigrated to Canada in 1948.
Vic was a graduate of McGill University in Montreal in 1957 with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He then received his master’s degree from NYU in 1963.
Vic founded V. Paulius & Associates (VPA) of Allendale, a design, development and construction company, in 1967. He designed and constructed numerous customized storage, distribution and manufacturing facilities throughout the United States, Canada and Lithuania. His love for his family and his work was his greatest pride. Vic was a Philanthropist who always was devoted to his native Lithuania.
Surviving is his beloved wife of 58 years, Brone (nee Kulys) Paulius of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, his devoted children, Christine Perazzo and her husband Jeffrey of Charlotte, NC, Raymond Paulius and his wife Renata of Franklin Lakes, and Robert Paulius and his wife Sigita of Allendale. Also surviving are his adoring ten grandchildren, Victor, Erika, Roman, Aleksander, Julija, Vilija, Olivia, Amelija, Kristin and Courtney and his sister, Jane Staskus of St. Petersburg, FL.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017, 10 am at Church of the Guardian Angel, 320 Franklin Tpk., Allendale, NJ 07401. Inurnment will take place following the Mass at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations to Lithuanian National Foundation, 307 West 30th Street, New York, New York 10001, info@tautofondas.org , would be appreciated.
