Obituary of Irma D. Crisci
Irma D. Crisci passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at the age of 91. Born in Newark, NJ, she was a lifelong resident of Oakland, NJ. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Oakland, NJ, where she volunteered for many years teaching Home Economics. Irma dedicated her life to her family, enjoyed morning walks on the track followed by breakfast at the Oakland Diner and stopping in to see her many friends at the Oakland Shop Rite where she shopped for over 40 years. Irma's life was a life well lived with a smile on her face and a spring in her step. She is predeceased by her husband George L. Crisci. Irma is survived by her daughter Amy Crisci Payton, her husband Robert; son George L. Crisci, Jr.; four grandchildren: Marcus, Robert Jr., George III and Lauren; a sister Emma Vitiello and is survived by many nieces, nephews and good friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ. The funeral mass for Irma will be held on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 117 Franklin Ave., Oakland, NJ.
