I looked forward to seeing Fran whenever I visited Susan and John. One never knew what she was going to do or say, but she always entertained. She was so observant, sometimes complimentary and other times insulting, but whichever way it went, it was with good intentions and we would laugh afterwards. She never failed to surprise me with her articulate words and stories, some of which were fantasy and others with truth as she knew it. I will miss her comments at our card table, especially when she gave Jo Ann's hand away, and I will certainly feel her absence whenever I'm at the Palmisano home. I celebrate her life with both sadness and joy as she is now in a better place and send my heartfelt sympathy to John, Susan, Judi, Keith and the rest of the family. With love, wishing you all comfort and peace at this difficult time, Carol

Dearest Mom: We miss you every minute of every day. We miss your constant smile, which was there whether you were awake, watching TV, talking with us or sleeping. We miss kissing you a hundred times a day and you clutching our hands and squeezing. We miss playing tug of war with you with your blankets and clothes. We miss your profound advice which we were never sure we understood. But most of all we just miss you being here with us.

Aunt Frances was a dear and memorable person. From my earliest years as a child she spent time to learn about my life and beliefs from Santa Claus the Easter Rabbit, Hollween and Thanksgiving. No single person in my 70 years of life besides my mother and Nonnina took the time to consider. Among the happiest times of my life growing up was when Uncle Leo and Aunt Frances came to visit. I forever remember the happiness and warmth associated with her. Aunt Frances, Uncle Leo and my Nonnina together, took the time to make a trips to Illinois when our family moved to a farm there. And later in life to an army hospital to visit me to cheer me up and see if I needed anything while I was injured. As I grew older i visited with Aunt Frances and Uncle Leo in Florida and was always welcomed. I have maintained have enjoyed maintaining contact.

Fran was one of those people you just looked at and said--"Boy, I wish I knew her secret". She was never without a smile, never complained, and entertained us all with her witty conversations and good humor. She will be missed but jeez, if there was a life to celebrate- this one is it!
