Obituary of Barbara W Schott

Barbara Schott, 89, of Ridgewood, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. Born in Sioux City, Iowa Barbara has lived in Ridgewood for the past 60 years. She was a 1949 Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Oberlin College, OH. Barbara was a Medical Technologist for Hackensack Labs in Hackensack until she retired in 1995. She was active in Hospice Services, Meals on Wheels and the West Side Presbyterian Church, where she sang in the Chancel Choir for 60 years. She is survived by her loving husband Frank of 66 years, her children: Dr. Edward F. Schott and his wife Trish of Ipswich, MA, Dr. Carolyn S. Haury and her husband John of Dearborn, MI and Dr. Pamela J. Schott of Branchville, NJ, her 6 grandchildren: Kyle, Amanda, Aaron, Ruth, Lydia and Jeffrey, and 1 great granddaughter, Julia. She is also survived by her brother, Rev. Brewster Willcox of Muskegon, MI. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, April 8 at 2:00pm at the West Side Presbyterian Church, 6 South Monroe St., Ridgewood, NJ 07450.
