Obituary of Marion E. Koprowski
KOPROWSKI
Marion, age 77, of Franklin Lakes, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016. Born in Rutherford, Marion has lived in Franklin Lakes for the past 50 years.
Early in her life, she enjoyed working as a florist at Colonial House of Flowers in Ridgewood and later became an administrative secretary for the Dean of the School of Management at William Paterson University for 17 years until she retired. Marion was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Wyckoff involved in many activities, notably being a Sunday school teacher for many years. She was also a member of the CERT Team of Franklin Lakes, was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels in Franklin Lakes, and was an active member of the Indian Trail Club, playing tennis regularly.
She is survived by her children: Donna Koprowski of San Fransisco, CA, Kim and her husband Stamos Nicholas of Franklin Lakes, NJ and Mark and his wife Kim Koprowski of Bethlehem, NH, her 6 grandchildren: Kristina, Caity, Justin, Kristen, Matthew and Thomas. She is also survived by her brother Harold. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Koprowski in 1991.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am at the Grace United Methodist Church, 555 Russell Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ 07481. Interment will follow at the church’s memorial garden.
