Obituary of William Greehey
GREEHEY, William H. age 72 died peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, October 8, 2007. Bill was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 18, 1935. He lived in Waldwick before moving to Wanaque 3 years ago. He was a Warranty Administrator for BMW of North America in Woodcliff Lake, and formerly with Jaguar Cars in Mahwah. Bill was a former member of the Waldwick Volunteer Ambulance Corps. He was also a member of the Air National Guard, and was a retired Colonel of the New York State Guard. Surviving is his beloved wife of 18 years, Felicia (nee Toleno), his daughters, Heidi Wallace and Holly Dexter, his son William Greehey. Bill also leaves his mother, Beryl Kaiser, his brother, Kevin Greehey, his step-daughters, Karen Moloughney and Felicia Thomas, and 10 grandchildren. Bill was pre-deceased by his step-son John Carr in 1989. Funeral services will be held Thursday 9:15 AM from the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff. Funeral mass will follow 10:00 AM at St. Luke's R.C.Church, 340 Franklin Tpk., HoHoKus. Interment will be in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Tenafly. Visiting is Wednesday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
