I think about Pete very often.....where we met for lunch after we had both left RB, the nights out at BB Kings in NYC, the Allendale Bar & Grill and all the nights out drinking beers and telling stories and jokes. We would talk about our kids and Pete always spoke so lovingly about his children and his love and pride in them was so evident. I still cannot believe Pete is gone....I miss him dearly. He was truly one of the finest men I've ever met and it was my pleasure and honor to call him my buddy.

Pete was a really great guy and I am very sad to hear of his passing. I had not spoken with Pete much after I left Reckitt but I have a ton of great memories of working and having fun with him while we worked together back in the late 90's. My best memories were ones where we shared a pint or two and shared stories and jokes. I know he adored his kids and I always admired the patience and energy he had to spend time with them and do things with them despite his age. I wish them my sincere condolences as I am sure there is a huge void in their life now that their Dad is gone. But I also hope they have great memories to help fill that void. Until we meet again, Pete, watch over all of us and be sure to have a pint or two for each of us. I am sure you will be glad to honor that request. Signed, Paul Cardell

When I lived in NJ, Peter was one of my best friends. There are many happy memories of my friendship with Peter which definitely included a few cold ones. I was a fairly active bicyclist in those days and I especially remember Peter joining me for the annual bike ride across IA called RAGBRAI. He was an athlete to the core. He was a loving, giving man. His help with the ACS GWB bike-a-thon was also a very fond memory.
Rest in peace, my friend, rest in peace.
Mike

As I think of the time that Pete and I worked together there are some key thoughts that made him such a unique person. He always was positive in how he approached life. He looked for the best in all people and situations. He had the best balance of work and family of anyone I ever met. His family always came first. Everyone that had privilege to work with him saw the passion and commitment he had.

As I remember Pete, I recall the love and pride that he had for his children, the gentle man that always had a smile and a laugh and as a truly good and decent human being. I, and many others, will miss him greatly. God speed, my friend.

Pete was a great man! He would stop by and visit my "cube" at work and always brighten my day. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family!
