Our deepest condolences to the Sherwood Family. We only learned of Tom's passing a little while ago. Tom was one of our favorites. A kind and good man who always brought a smile to our store. His fight for life inspired us all. May he rest in peace.

Years apart do not lessen the sadness I feel upon learning of Thomas's passing. We once were brothers, part of a very big and happy family. My condolences and love to all. Joseph

I first met you at your home in Mahwah at the annual Sherwood Family Christmas Eve party in December 2012. I will always remember when your mother introduced me to you and said, "this is my oldest son Thomas" and I smiled. During these almost 4 years you and I had many conversations as we were the oldest children in our respective families and had so much in common. We talked about so many things from traveling to sports about our children and parents and of course politics. He was one of the strongest willed people I'd have ever met and GeV fought this terrible disease like no one I have ever known. I give you so much credit for your silent strength and fortitude. I will miss you a great deal Tom but I know that you will continue watching over your family along with your father and brother and sister. You fought the good fight for as long as you could and gave it your best. You will always be remembered by your family and most especially by this fellow. May you rest in peace my friend ... you certainly deserve it. A life well lived and a job well done. You left a legacy to be proud of.
