Mitzi, Ellen & Johnny, I just learned of the passing of your late hubby/dad today. I am shocked by this news. Your entire family were my wonderful neighbors in Somerville until you moved up to Branchburg. Many fond memories. So hard to believe that John, Sr is gone too soon. I and my family missed you all very much when you moved, and hold you all in the highest regard. My deepest condolences on your loss.

Mrs. Moran, Ellen, and John,
I was so sorry to read about Mr. Moran's passing. I remember how handsome he looked in his dress fireman's uniform for the parades in Somerville. He was always so nice when I was over your house playing with Ellen when we were young.
I hope that the void you are feeling now, can somehow be lessened by memories of happier times. You are all in my thoughts.

Sorry for your loss. John and I worked together for over 30 years in the Audit Department of the Port Authority. He was a wonderful supervisor, easy to work for and a carrying individual. I last saw John about a year ago at one of the Audit Dept. retirees get togethers. He is at peace now.

I worked with John at the Port Authority for many years. Innovative, always helpful and eager to solve problems. And always a smile John represents the best of the Port Authority in the days when it was free to carry out the region's projects.
