Obituary of Patrick Thomas Browne

Patrick Thomas Browne of Waldwick passed away on Monday, June 6th, 2016. He was just 18 years old. Patrick was a loving son, great brother, devoted grandson, cherished nephew and cousin, wonderful friend and selfless teammate. He recently completed his freshman year at East Carolina University where he was a loyal brother in the Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity. Although Patrick was an enthusiastic fan of the Yankees and Jets, he enjoyed the camaraderie of playing sports with his teammates more than watching them. He was a proud graduate of Waldwick High School where, as a Waldwick Warrior, he played football, baseball and lacrosse. Patrick especially enjoyed playing fantasy football, watching movies and T.V. shows with his family and listening to music. Put simply, Patrick was a great kid. He was thoughtful, caring, empathetic, smart, funny and sincere. He was loved and will be missed. He is survived by his adoring parents, Kevin and Barbara, his loving sister, Kelly, his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 9th from 1-3pm and 6-9pm at St. Luke’s R.C. Church, 340 Franklin Tpke., Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 10th at St. Luke’s at 10am. Burial to follow at St. Luke’s Cemetery located next to the church.
