Obituary of Nancy Russell

Russell, Nancy, age 79, of Midland Park, passed away at home on Monday, May 9th, 2016. Nancy was born in Ridgewood, grew up in Midland Park, and lived in Wyckoff before moving back to Midland Park 3 years ago. Nancy enjoyed giving piano lessons in her home for many years. After raising her children, Nancy went back to college for her teaching degree and graduated Summa Cum Laude from William Paterson College. She was a benefits coordinator for William Paterson University before her retirement in 1991. Nancy was a member of Faith Reformed Church in Midland Park where she loved singing in the choir. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Weite and her husband, Ken; her son, Vincent E. and his wife, Barbara; her grandchildren – Ken Weite and his wife, Beth, Kristin Weite, Jake Russell and Josh Russell; and two great-granddaughters – Madison and McKenna Weite. She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent A. Russell, in 2013. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 12th from 7-9pm at the Olthuis Funeral Home, www.ofhmp.com, 159 Godwin Ave., Midland Park, NJ. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Friday, May 13th at 10am at Olthuis Funeral Home. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, 234 Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ.
