While a student at Seton Hal University I was blessed to know and work with Brian on the Setonian, the student weekly newspaper. Brian was a wonderful role model for me and many other students. Thank you Brian for helping me develop as a writer and a person. I will always be grateful. God bless you and your family.

My heart too is broken on this sad news. On behalf of my side of the family, know we are all very sorry for your loss. Not only was Brian a wonderful person to know, he was a joy to watch when I was with him. He could relate to everyone, showing the most sincere interest in family, friends and people he was just meeting. He always showed enthusiasm in what people were into and brought out sincere conversation, between himself and others. He openly greeted ,me when I too joined your wonderful family. He and I , experienced one of the more memorable moments in the Barry family, as the Nut Brothers.......one time only, as part of the celebration for Joe and Jeans anniversary. We are forever Brothers. Miss my Brother Nut. Love to all , always.Jim

Miss you always, Dad, a light in my life. I know someday this terrible sadness will lift because my memories of you will not allow me to carry on too long like this, but right now my heart is broken in pieces and longing for one more moment with you, one more time to hear your voice, one more chance to visit, one more moment to see you hold my boys. I love you, Daddio. We will always surround Mommy with love and keep her safe. I'll meet you someday in Marrakesh...

The officers and members of the Gaelic Cultural Society, and all of the Project Children family extends our deepest sympathy to Eileen and her children on the loss of her beloved Brian. Brian was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He was a great American, and always proud of his Irish heritage. Brian and his family have been long time supporters of Project Children. They opened their home and hearts to the children of Northern Ireland.
On a personal note, Brian was a wonderful friend, and I will miss him very much. I will miss his sincerity, kindness and integrity. He and Eileen have raised a wonderful family, and I know they will continue his legacy of service and charity to others. Brian, you have helped so many over the years, and now , may you rest in the peace of the Lord.
