Obituary of Michele R. Meussner

Michele Meussner passed away on March 1, 2016. She was 58. Born in Weehawken, New Jersey, she was raised in Oradell, lived in Massachusetts and California before moving to Wyckoff in 1999. Michele graduated from Providence College in Rhode Island, obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in English. Michele was the owner of Red Cup Career Services, LLC, which provides students with skills and techniques to manage their job search. She was also a parishioner at St. Elizabeth’s Church in Wyckoff. Michele was an adoring wife, loving mother and devoted friend. She was a rock star in every aspect of her life. Survivors include her loving husband, Darrell J. Meussner, to whom she was married for 28 years; daughter Emily Rose, son John Darrell, “honorary Meussner” Cole Johnson; father and mother; Dante and Connie Ricciardi, sister; Antoinette, her sweetheart Joel Kimiecik, brother; Dante, his wife Lisa; and nieces and nephews: Nicolle, Bridget, Reilly and Dante; and great nieces: Mia and Zoey. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 4, 2016 from 2:00 – 7:00 PM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah.
