Yes, my heart is broken. Rose, to me, was a special and dear friend. We taught together as sixth grade cooperating teachers for seventeen years until she retired from the Cavallini Middle School. For the years that followed we kept in touch via phone several times a year even though I had moved to Florida. When ever I traveled north, we would try to connect. Most recently we spoke on the phone in early December while waiting at the airport for a return flight to Florida. We had just spent Thanksgiving with our daughter's family. Rose and I had a long and wonderful chat about life and she spoke lovingly of how happy her whole family's gathering at Thanksgiving made her feel. She so loved you all, that gathering together at that time was one of the greatest gifts you could have given her. Rose will always remain in my mind as an extraordinary and vibrant woman. I will miss her, but she will always remain in my prayers.
Love,
Joan

My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this difficult time. Rose was a kind, thoughtful, gentle person who always took an interest in others. She was a great teacher who taught two of my children. I always looked forward to seeing her at the teachers' luncheons. Her energy and sense of humor were amazing.
May your memories of Rose bring you comfort. I know she will be dearly missed by
many people.

My deepest condolences to the family of Rose. She and I taught together for many years at the 6th grade level. Rose truly loved teaching and her students as well.
She was a "real lady" in every sense of the word: respectful, thoughtful, caring as well as a kind, loving person. I have only the fondest memories of Rose and I know she will be missed by her family and friends.

It saddens me to learn of the passing of Rose. She was a lovely lady with a kind word or compliment for all she knew. I also enjoyed her sense of humor. I had the pleasure of working with Rose for several years in Upper Saddle River. She will be greatly missed.
