Obituary of Ann F. Personette
Ann F. Personette passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 30, 2015. She was 86. Born in Kearny, NJ, she was a long time resident of Woodcliff Lake before moving to Wyckoff in 2004. Ann was a parishioner at St. Elizabeth’s Church in Wyckoff and a former member of Our Lady Mother of the Church in Woodcliff Lake where she was a Eucharist Minister and warded the Caritas Metal for her outstanding dedication and service to the church. Ann was an animal lover and will be missed by her granddogs: Shelby, Pepper, Bailey Maggie and Molly. For over forty years, Ann and her late husband, Robert, were instrumental in managing and organizing the Christmas toy drive for the children of the inmates at Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women in Clinton, NJ. Additionally they were responsible for providing the books for the prison library. Ann also enjoyed her time on Long Beach Island where she maintained a summer home.
Ann is survived by her three sons: Robert E., his wife Kathy, Richard A., his wife Dawn, Glenn D., his wife Jane, and a daughter Carol A. Doyle, her husband James, and ten grandchildren: Jennifer, Michael, Kaitlyn, Christopher, Hailey, Adam, Noah, John, Leah and Lily. Ann is also survived by her brother Joseph Laudadio and a sister Marilyn Parsons.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 4, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories Mausoleum in Washington Township. Memorial contributions in Ann’s memory may be made to the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, 2 Shelter Lane, Oakland, NJ 07436.
