Obituary of Frank J. Masciandaro

Masciandaro, Frank, age 76, of Wyckoff, died peacefully at his home on Monday, November 30, 2015. Frank was born in Brooklyn, NY and has been a resident of Wyckoff since 1972. Frank was an active parishioner of St. Elizabeth RC Church, Wyckoff where he served as a Eucharistic Minister, volunteered at Sacred Heart School, Jersey City and was a member of Just Faith. Frank spent his working career as an Electrical Engineer in the telecommunications field having retired from Bell South in Woodbridge, NJ. He previously worked for Western Union for 29 years. Frank is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret (nee Iossa ) Masciandaro of Wyckoff, his loving children, Marc Masciandaro and his wife Lauren Cerulli of Brooklyn, NY, and Susan Fruhbeis and her husband Michael of Ramsey, NJ. He is also survived by his two adored grandsons, Maxwell and Miles Fruhbeis and a sister Vincenta and her husband, Dr. Hoyle Leigh of Fresno, CA. Frank was predeceased by his parents, Emanuel and Ines (nee Ciarrocchi) Masciandaro. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ 07481. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 12:00 noon at St. Elizabeth RC Church, 700 Wyckoff Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ with the internment following at Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes, NJ. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, contributions in Frank’s memory may be made to Sacred Heart Angel Fund, C/O St. Elizabeth RC Church, 700 Wyckoff Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ 07481.
