Obituary of Margareta B. Nylund

Margareta B. Nylund passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 27, 2015. She was 74. Born in Narpes, Finland, she immigrated to the United States in 1961. She lived in Ridgewood and Saddle River prior to moving to Wyckoff. Margareta and her husband were the owners of Nylund Construction in Wyckoff for 25 years. She was a member of the Advent Lutheran Church. Her beloved husband, Fjalar S. Nylund, died in 2006. Survivors include her two daughters: Dr. Ann Christine Nylund and Britt Marie Nylund, Esq., and their respective spouses, Anthony Roccanova and Joseph Deker, four grandchildren: Brooke, Kevin, Erika and Jason, and a sister, Elisabeth Multamaki. The funeral service for Margareta will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Advent Lutheran Church, 777 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff and the interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Margareta’s memory may be made to the Valley Hospital, 223 N. Van Dien Ave., Ridgewood, NJ 07450. Arrangements are by Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Wyckoff.
