Obituary of Carmelo Azcuy

AZCUY Carmelo F. "Carl" III, 53, of Franklin Lakes, died on Monday, Sept. 19, 2011. Born in Pinar del Rio, Cuba, he grew up in Brandon, Miss. He graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi, where he received his Master of Business Administration degree. He was the owner and managing director of Anchor Staffing in East Brunswick. Mr. Azcuy is survived by his beloved wife, Joanne; his parents, Carmelo and Billye Azcuy; and his father-in-law, Rudolph Stefko. Cremation was private. A gathering of friends will take place from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1, followed immediately by a memorial service at 2:30 p.m., at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, located at 257 Godwin Ave. in Wyckoff.
