Obituary of Helen Riccardi

RICCARDI, Helen Margaret, nee Canzano, age 77, died on Wednesday, July 20, 2011. Born in Jersey City, NJ, Helen was a resident of Franklin Lakes before moving to Wyckoff in 2001. Before Helen was a Real Estate Associate with Weichert Realtors in Tenafly, she was the owner of the Italian Carousel Gourmet Deli in Ramsey. Helen passionately celebrated life with family, friends and food. Helen is survived by her loving children; Mrs. Rachel Addonizio (late husband Thomas) of Florham Park and her children Thomas & Gabrielle, Anthony III and Sophia Riccardi of Oakland and their children Elena and Lucas, Christopher and Dawn Riccardi of Wall and their children Merissa, Christopher and Lindsay, Robert and Sheila Riccardi of Paramus and their children Michael and Thomas, Gregory and Keri Riccardi of Allendale and their children Emma, John, Joseph and Nina, and Matthew Riccardi of Oakland and his son Christian. Helen is also survived by her siblings; Anthony and wife Dorothy Canzano, Edward and wife Doris Canzano, Vincenza and husband Andrew Pinelli, Mrs. Ida Tozzi (late husband Mario), Rose and husband Joseph Lombardi, Albert and wife Ann Marie Canzano, Ms. Anne Canzano, Rita and husband Carmen Bello. Also surviving Helen is her former husband Anthony Riccardi, Jr. Helen was predeceased by her siblings; Lawrence, Thomas, Joseph Canzano and Angelina Brown (surviving husband James). Visiting hours are Friday, 1:30 - 3:30 & 7 - 9 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. Funeral Mass, Saturday 10:00 am at the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 787 Franklin Lakes Rd., Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417. Interment will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
