Obituary of Alice Weith

Alice May Weith (nee Pazdernik), age 86, died peacefully with her loving family by her side on Thursday, July 12, 2007. A native of Rhinelander, WI, she lived in Ramsey before moving to Franklin Lakes 31 years ago. During the majority of her career Alice was a purchasing agent working with Pfister Aluminum of Allendale. She worked for several other firms prior to retiring in the early 1970's. After retirement she focused her energy in loving and caring for children. An avid reader, Alice was always ready for a good conversation regarding current events. Alice is survived by her husband Robert Reimer to whom she had the privelage to be married to for 31 years. She gave lovingly of herself to her two daughters Barbara Isenberg of North Bergen and Kathleen Weith-Glushko of Franklin Lakes and their husbands. She will be missed by her very-much- adored grandsons Seth, Jordan and Derek and her four siblings; June Nordling of Roseville, MN, Kenneth Pazdernik of Rhinelander, WI, Donald Pazdernik of Rhinelander, WI, and Ruth Shalaida of Hillside, as well as many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit the family on Sunday, 2-4 and 7-8:30 PM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff. A service will follow visitation at 8:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Vesterheim Norwegian-American Museum, P.O. Box 379 Decorah, IA 52101-0379, would be appreciated. www.vpfh.com
