Obituary of Andrew Pisani

PISANI, Andrew, age 89 died on Sunday, July 8, 2007. Born in Peekskill, NY, he was a resident of Union City until moving to Mahwah 6 years ago. Along with his wife, Andrew was the owner and operator of Cristina's Pizzeria in Union City, NJ from 1951-1988. He was a World War II Army veteran and a life member of the American Legion Post 14, Union City. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Cristina (nee Moscatelli) of Mahwah, his sons Andrew D. of Lyndhurst, Robert V. and his wife Joyce of North Caldwell and his daughter Dianne M. and her husband Dr. David Nunez of Franklin Lakes. He is also survived by his four granddaughters, Dania and Dominique Nunez and Victoria and Rachel Pisani, and his sister, Fannie Marallo of Peekskill, NY. Visiting Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. Prayers Friday 9:15 a.m. at the Funeral Home, followed by a Funeral Mass, 10:00 a.m. at the Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, 787 Franklin Lakes Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417.
