Obituary of Robert Mechling

MECHLING, Robert, age 88, died on Friday, June 8, 2007. Robert was born in Union Hall, NJ on April 3, 1919. He was a resident of Woodridge until moving to Mahwah in 1995. He worked for 20 years as a machinist for Maxwell House in Hoboken until he retired in 1985. Robert served in the Army during WWII and was a member of the American Legion. Robert is survived by his wife of 62 years, Florence, his daughters Roberta of Mahwah and Florence of Tallahassee, FL, 5 grandchildren, Tom, Kimberly and Timothy McCutchen and Peter and Jarryd Left, and 3 great-grand children. Visiting is Monday, June 11, 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff. Funeral mass will be Tuesday, June 12, 10:00 am at St. Paul's R.C. Church, 200 Wyckoff Ave., Ramsey. Interment will be in the George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. Memorial contributions may be made to Don Bosco Prep, 492 N.
