Obituary of Regina Carberry

CARBERRY, Regina (nee McKeever) age 84, died peacefully on Tuesday, June 5, 2007 surrounded by her family at the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. Regina was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 22, 1922. She was a resident of Waldwick for the past 42 years. She worked for Bell Atlantic for 28 years in Ridgewood, NJ and retired in 1985, she was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. Regina was a parishioner of St.Luke's R.C.Church in HoHoKus. Surviving are her devoted children, Edward and his wife Dina of Montvale, NJ, Paul and his wife Judy of Manasquan, NJ, Mary Jean Sullivan of Waldwick, NJ, Ginny and her husband Bill Burke of Hawthorne, NJ, and Carolyn and her husband Paul Russo of Norwood, MA. 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grand children, and her sisters Rita O'Donnell of New York and Victoria McMahon of Pennsylvania. Regina was pre-deceased by her husband Edward Thomas Carberry Sr. in 1985, and her brothers Edward McKeever and Justin McKeever. Funeral services will be held Friday 10:15 am from the Vander Plaat Funeral Home 257 Godwin Avenue Wyckoff. Funeral mass will follow 11:00 am at St. Luke's R.C. Church 340 Franklin Tpk. HoHoKus. Interment will be in the Valleau Cemetery in Ridgewood. Visiting is Thursday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Vander Plaat Funeral Home.
